JOYS OF THE PLANETS: Planets are said to be in their joy when they are in those houses where they are most strong and powerful.
LATITUDE - Latitude is the distance of a Planet from the Ecliptic, either towards the North or South, by which means we come to say, a Planet has either Septentrionall or Meridionall Latitude, when either he recedes from the Ecliptic towards the North or South.
LONG ASCENSION - An into Signs of right or long ascension, viz. CANCER , LEO, VIRGO, LIBRA, AQUARIUS, SAGITTARIUS.
LONGITUDE - The Longitude of a Planet is his distance from the beginning of Aries, numbered according to the succession of signs, unto the place of the Planet.
